Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a talented Facility Coördinator who will support the Facility Management Team Lead in the smooth day‑to‑day delivery of facility services across Brussels Airlines and Lufthansa Group entities in Belgium. You will be the go‑to person for technical building matters, working closely with internal colleagues and external partners to ensure safe, compliant and efficient workplaces.

And that could be you! Curious what your responsibilities would look like?

  1. Technical Facility Management  (primary responsibility)
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations and maintenance of building technical systems (HVAC, electrical, elevators, access control, etc.)
  • Follow up on corrective and preventive maintenance with service providers; track completion and quality of works
  • Act as first point of contact for technical incidents and building-related issues; escalate where needed
  • Support compliance with fire protection, safety regulations and statutory inspections
  • Contribute to utility and energy management: monitor consumption, flag anomalies and support efficiency initiatives
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, logbooks and inspection records
  1. Contract & Vendor Management  (primary responsibility):
  • Support the management of FM service contracts: prepare and follow up purchase orders, delivery confirmations and invoices
  • Monitor SLA compliance and vendor performance; report deviations to the Facility Manager
  • Assist in tender preparation and evaluation for FM service contracts
  • Maintain the contract register and ensure timely renewals or renegotiations
  • Build solid working relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders
  1. Small Construction & Workspace Projects
  • Coordinate minor construction, refurbishment and fit-out works (< €300k) on behalf of the Facility Manager
  • Liaise with contractors, follow up on site progress and ensure works are delivered on time, within budget and to specification
  • Support workspace management activities: space planning, move coordination and workplace setup

Where do you land?

You’ll be part of the Real Estate & Facility Management team, supporting building operations for Brussels Airlines and Lufthansa Group entities in Belgium.
You will report directly to the Facility Management Team Lead – Belgium.

 

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Building Technology, Engineering, or equivalent by experience
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in facility management, building operations or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with technical building systems and contractor coordination
  • Experience with contract follow-up and vendor management
  • Exposure to small construction or fit‑out projects is an asset
  • Good knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations related to buildings
  • Structured, solution‑oriented and proactive working style
  • Strong communication skills and a customer‑oriented mindset
  • Fluent in English, with a good knowledge of Dutch and French
