We are looking for a talented Senior Manager Product Development to shape the future product experience at Brussels Airlines, enhance customer experience, reinforce our competitive positioning, and deliver strong commercial value. And that could be you!
Curious what your responsibilities would look like?
- Drive product strategy in close collaboration with SN and Lufthansa Group stakeholders, translating aviation and hospitality trends into innovative concepts that strengthen Brussels Airlines’ market positioning.
- Leverage customer insights, research and benchmarks to identify opportunities and deliver best-in-class improvements across cabin, lounge and premium experiences.
- Ensure consistently high product quality by defining and monitoring standards, while continuously enhancing the guest experience based on feedback and satisfaction data.
- Build robust business cases that strike the right balance between customer value, operational feasibility and financial return, enabling informed strategic decision-making.
- Take full ownership of the ground and cabin product budget, ensuring accurate forecasting, close performance monitoring and alignment with overall business objectives.
- Manage complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end, working closely with LHG Product Development, Procurement and internal stakeholders to successfully deliver impactful initiatives.
- Lead exciting projects such as The LOFT renovation, new lounge developments, long-haul cabin retrofit, medium-haul fleet harmonisation, IFE development and Starlink connectivity rollout.
- Drive value creation through effective management of external partners and suppliers, including negotiating optimal terms and ensuring high-quality output.
- Translate product ideas into clear operational and technical requirements, enabling smooth execution and continuous process optimisation.
- Act as the central point of contact for product development initiatives, ensuring strong alignment on vision, value and implementation across all stakeholders.
- Shape and deliver communication, training and enablement approaches that support successful product rollouts and sustained operational excellence.
- Inspire and empower the team by providing direction, coaching and support, fostering ownership, growth and high performance while delivering strong results across the organisation.

Where do you land?
You’ll be part of the Product, Brand & Marketing team, a group of passionate experts dedicated to shaping and continuously improving the Brussels Airlines product offering. The team focuses on delivering innovative and high-quality experiences across ground and cabin, with a strong focus on customer value and operational excellence. As part of Lufthansa Group, you will work in close collaboration with Group-wide product and innovation teams.
In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Product and Marketing and collaborate closely with senior leadership, as well as key stakeholders across departments such as Operations, Marketing, Procurement, HR and Finance, ensuring strong alignment and successful delivery of product initiatives across the organisation.
Your profile

- University degree - Business or Economical Degree desirable
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in strategic product / project management
- Proven product leadership experience in the airline or comparable complex industry
- Strong strategic planning and project delivery capabilities
- Advanced analytical and financial acumen for business case development and investment decisions
- Solid commercial judgment for prioritization and value optimization
- Strategic thinker with a strong execution focus
- Able to lead multiple complex, time-critical initiatives independently
- Good command of English, French & Dutch
- Customer minded
- Team player/motivator, with genuine respect for people
- Ability to work under pressure and to manage diverse tasks in parallel
- Independent and proactive approach
- Strong communications skills (verbal and written)
