Function Description
As a Lead Project Planner, you are required to implement effective project planning, monitoring and control processes in support of one or more Program Managers.
You will have the opportunity to work on enterprise wide solution projects that include, but are not limited to:
help ensure the successful delivery of Bids and Programs to schedule and within budget.
Scope management including project planning, monitoring and control and in particular:
o planning of new projects and of changes to existing projects;
o control and implementation of project changes;
o preparation, maintenance and update of project schedules;
o earned value monitoring and reporting;
o preparation of progress reports;
o support to the project risk management process.
Scope also includes project co-ordination tasks such as investigation of variances, expediting progress and facilitating meetings.
Required Skills
Proficient in English and at least one of the official Belgian languages (Dutch or French) . Any additional language is a plus.
Strong experience in executing project management methodologies such as PMI and/or Prince2
The Project Planner must have experience in engineering with experience in Earned Value Management, RISK and Leadership.
Project management-related experience, e.g. as a Project Planner /Scheduler/ Co-ordinator.
Demonstrable successful experience in the application of formal project management methodologies.
Expert in usage of Project planning usual toolkit such as but not limited to MS Office suite components (Excell, Word, Visio, MS Project)
Good communication skills
Team spirit and proficient in supporting Project/Program managers/coordinators on everyday tasks
