Function Description

As a Lead Infrastructure Architect you will act as a trusted advisor of the customer on all IT related business challenges and supports the customer in translating his business requirements into needs for IT infrastructures and proposes solutions for the Dynamic Data Centre. You will act as a link between the customer’s IT Staff and the Fujitsu software integration project teams.

You will have the opportunity to work on enterprise wide solution projects that include, but are not limited to:

Support Sales on lead generation as a trusted advisor of the customer using the methodology of consultative selling resulting in needs assessments; assists with qualification, proposal assurance and risk assessment for complex enterprise solutions
Understands and satisfies the customer needs, firstly independent of specific IT products, on this base solutions are designed that Fujitsu can offer
Supports the customer in translating his business requirements into needs for IT infrastructures; quantifies and clearly articulates the ROI/TCO benefits of the solution
Translates the requirements for IT efficiency, agility and continuity into the technology needs for IT infrastructure optimization, management of processes, systems and information as well as business continuity and recovery
Works out and presents complex solution offerings that ensure a significant contribution to solving the customer´s business problems; provides guidance on the resulting impact upon business processes and resources
Facilitates the development of complex solution offerings by selecting the appropriate resources for delivery of services and delivering services with own core competence
Facilitates the customers´ identification, prioritization and decision making on IT technology, strategy and implementation requirements
Is responsible for quality, reliability and delivery of solutions
Interdisciplinary project work on an international level
Is responsible for the form of contracts and risk management of IT infrastructure projects, of for the Infrastructure part of global application integration projects.

Required Skills

· Proficient in English and at least one of the official Belgian languages (Dutch or French) . Any additional language is a plus.

· Specialist university degree or equivalent education

· Several years relevant Professional experience

· Several years relevant Leadership experience

· Very good Project management experience

· Profound Understanding of implementation and integration processes of IT infrastructures

· Profound Understanding of customers business needs

· Excellent Customer relationship management at the most senior level

· Several years Consulting experience

· Very good Consulting skills

· Very good Understanding the business processes

· Very good Commercial knowledge

· Good Know-how of relevant methods and tools

· Excellent Interpersonal skills

· Excellent Communication skills

· Excellent Networking skills

· Very good Presentation skills

· Analytical thinking

· Good experience in ILM and archiving/storage mechanisms/solutions is a plus
