Function Description

You will have the opportunity to work on an enterprise wide solution program that include, but are not limited to:

· Definition (based on recognized standards/frameworks for testing) of testing plans and quality management plans

· Coach a (small) QA team to execute the testing plans and ensure quality of deliverables planned as part of this global ECM program

· Interact with the customer during technical and functional workshops and meetings in order to ensure proper planning and roll-out of testing plans and acceptance phases

· To take accountability and responsibility for the delivery of Testing assignments.

· To meet customer satisfaction criteria and contractual obligations within a budget and timescale, ensuring testing assignment is delivered to expected standards.

· To achieve results through acknowledged technical ability and team

· To support business development activities thru leading the overall solution design for testing, and business case creation, should be able to handle RFP/RFI.

· To plan, schedule and monitor Testing assignments and deliver to time and budget, meeting quality criteria and contract as appropriate.

· To prepare (wherever required) Test Strategies for complex requirements.

· To ensure that the appropriate methods specified are used to deliver the proposed system.

· To ensure that the team works to agreed standards and processes.

· Technology adoption and capacity building and align with corporate practice strategy

· Be able to work on different dimensions of software quality assurance (Abstraction,Cohesion,Completeness,Elegance,Extensibility,Fault-tolerance,Maintainability,Reliability,Robustness,Scalability)

Required skills:

Proficient in English and at least one of the official Belgian languages (Dutch or French) . Any additional language is a plus.
Strong Testing Background 5-10 years of Testing with a minimum of 3 yrs of experience including all aspects like Black box, White Box, integration, regression, stress and other forms of testing
Should have worked on independent testing projects [End-to-end testing projects] for multiple clients
Should have worked as software developer (analyst/developer wished) for at least 5 years, ideally in the domain of ECM (integrating ECM, scanning, BPM, archiving solutions)
Experience with manual and automated testing( performance, automated , test management) is a must , Good working knowledge of OpenSource testing tools
Experience with selection, comparison, implementation, and efficient usage of testing tools is a must
Strong understanding of Testing processes, frameworks and methodologies
Experience in managing client relationship
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with people at all level of the client organization
Strong people management skills
Capable of managing crises and working under pressure when required; keeping team motivated and focused on team goals
Ensures documentation / maintenance of - content and structure of all Testing documents / artifacts, and also documents, implements, monitors, and enforces all processes and procedures for testing as per standards defined by the organization
Experience working with international clients, preferably in highly secure environments (ex : intel agencies, military, MOD’s,…)
Preferably ISEB/ISTQB certified
