Senior Program/Project Manager

To reinforce our Transformation Office & PMO department, we are looking for an agile profile to take up the role of Senior Program/Project Manager – Business Analyst.

Your role:

  • (Pro)actively manage transformations and projects (E2E responsibility) and project teams with cross-departmental and functional dependencies;
  • (Pro)actively organise and report into project Steerco’s.
  • Demonstrate project ownership by ensuring project delivery within the predetermined timing, scope, quality and budget as well as manage the scope, project planning, budget and risks of the projects.
  • Analyse high-level business requirements to identify areas for improvement, develop strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Make target solution designs, business cases, and roadmaps to ensure quality.
  • Analyse, align and explicitly define the project scope.
  • Own the project planning to achieve the project objectives.
  • Manage and report on the budget, risks and opportunities, offer appropriate solutions.
  • Coach and manage the (cross-departmental) project team(s).
  • Ensure all requirements are agreed and well-understood, and aligned with the IT Department, where required.
  • Get buy-in from and communicate effectively with (cross-departmental) project team(s) and all involved parties and stakeholders, and support change at all levels.
  • Follow project methodology, templates and tools, and report on projects’ progress and status in line with the project governance.
  • Ensure regulatory and governance compliance.
  • Support the Transformation Office & Project Management Office Team.
  • Report to the Head of Transformation Office & PMO.

Your skills and expertise:

Soft Skills:

  • Able to write / analyse business cases.

Hard Skills:

  • Experience in applying project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong change management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (MS Projects, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Thorough knowledge of English, Dutch and/or French.
  • Strong affinity with (life) insurance and financial services (second and third pillar knowledge) is an asset.
